Executive Director Zuniga provided updates on officer certification and financial and administrative matters. Presentations on officer behavioral health included Dr. Tracie Goodness’s remarks on critical incidents and stress management, and Commissioner Bluestone’s discussion on mitigating law enforcement risks. The legal team covered topics including officer recertification and physical fitness, the agency certification initiative, draft standard on juvenile operations, and a proposed policy for the National Decertification Index, followed by a discussion of Robert Choquette’s application to voluntary relinquish his certification. An Executive Session followed.
