The Legal team presented updates and the Commission voted on the revised version of the 555 CMR 12.00 regulations. The meeting also included a review of recommendations from the Subcommittee on Certification Policy, as well as discussion of draft standards on Use of Force Reporting and an Officer Code of Conduct. Additional matters not anticipated by the Chair at the time of posting were addressed before the Commission entered Executive Session.
The POST Commission held a Physical Fitness Panel Discussion on law enforcement physical fitness training and testing on October 18 and featured a panel of six nationally and internationally recognized experts with decades of experience and research in the area of tactical training and testing.
