How to read the CSV file
There are some instances where the complaint or incident involved multiple allegations. In these cases, the CSV file contains more than one row to reflect each allegation. This is reflected by a subsequent row(s) with the same POST number (first column). Multiple rows with the same number should not be construed as separate incidents, but rather as multiple sustained instances of the same complaint or incident.
Data reflects sustained disciplinary records and excludes records where the disposition was not sustained, unfounded, or exonerated. See definitions below.
SUSTAINED: The investigation produced a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation of an act that was determined to be misconduct.
NOT SUSTAINED: The investigation failed to produce a preponderance of evidence to either prove or disprove the allegation.
UNFOUNDED: The allegation concerned an act by an agency employee that did not occur.
EXONERATED: The allegation in fact did occur but the actions of the agency employee were legal, justified, proper and in conformance with the law and the agency policy and procedure.
